The Story Behind ALTERNATIVs

ALTERNATIVs did not start as a business idea but as a personal search for answers.

After struggling with depression for five and a half years, our co-founder, Cristina Popescu, discovered that traditional support alone was not enough. The real change for her came from understanding how different parts of life – physical health, emotions, mind’s health, identity, relationships, work, and career – all influence each other. 

Through this journey, she combined her education and experience with insights from:

  • Psychology
  • Nutrition coaching
  • Aromatherapy
  • Holistic health practice
  • Trauma coaching

Everything we teach in ALTERNATIVs has been:

✓ Personally practiced during depression and burnout by Cristina herself
✓ Tested during periods of high life pressure and responsibility
✓ Applied with clients in the Netherlands for the past 3 years
✓ Developed through more than 8 years of coaching experience across Europe
